FAQ - Uninsured Motorist Coverage

One out of every five accidents is caused by someone with no insurance.

This coverage will pay compensatory damages, which you are legally entitled to recover from the owner or operator of an "uninsured motor vehicle" because of bodily injury. Your insurance company will then attempt to recover these costs form the other person. This coverage is required on most policies and should be written for the same limit as your bodily injury coverage. This information is general in nature and should not substitute for the advice of and expert in the field.
